Trivia Kings Entertainment is the region's largest network of pub quiz nights in the Mid Atlantic area with over 50 venues and is expanding in your market and looking for amazing, well spoken, engaging, meticulous people like yourself who have an overall love for all things trivia!

Currently Trivia Kings is best known for their scores of locations in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area but features locations throughout the east coast in such areas as New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Richmond in addition to select locations in several other states across the country.

Hosting Decription

The typical host will work alone, or with a partner, depending on venue size and complexity. On average each night's event lasts two hours with approximately 30 minutes for set up and break down.

During events hosts are expected to multi-task reading questions, answers, and scores as well as providing commentary, grading answers, and data entering scores into a proprietary data management program.

Each new host will undergo a brief apprenticeship lasting 2-4 night(s) before independently hosting any venue. Hosts are given placement based on the supply of host qualifications and the demand of venues hosts as best as possible. Compensation is based on a wide scale of factors but is very competitive and ranges between $40 and $80 per event.

Hosting Details

All Hosts Must

• Have the access to a laptop computer (Mac or PC)
• Have the ability to articulately speak to large audiences
• Have the ability to type with all fingers (30 WPM)
• Have the responsibility to reliably and punctually arrive at venues

All Hosts Should

• Have an understanding of basic audio (RCA/XLR/TRS)
• Have an outgoing and charming personality
• Have an excellent short term memory
• Have an outstanding sense of humor
• Have an eclectic taste for great music
• Have an account on Facebook (For event administration)

All Hosts are Benefited By

• Having an independent means of printing 20-50 sheets or paper
• Having an intense desire to produce and recommend trivia content
• Having an entrepreneurial spirit to host more venues
• Having an ability to travel when necessary for special events
